Sat Nav Dvd Ejection

Hi

Ive just bought a Toyota Avensis 05. Ive located the Sat Nav DVD player under the passenger seat. I want to eject the DVD to have a look at which version running, as I would like to pontentially upgrade. Although there is a button that slides which open the slot were you would expect the DVD to pop out, nothing happens. I can see any other buttons to press in order to eject the DVD. Any idea?

i have a 53 reg. on mine there is a button behind the sliding bit. dont know if yours is the same, try it.

You should be able to find out the version from the screen menu anyway.

Have 03 Avensis 11 model. With ignition on Cd slides out when cover is moved across. Maybe yours may work in the same fashion?

I would not have worked that out without your help. Its not very clear at all.

Mine you just slide the switch which opens the drive cover door then the disc ejects itself. You dont have to press any buttons.
