Hi guys,

I finally got some pics of my GTI-16. They're not great but they'll do for now.

I've totally stripped her out myself with no help and it took around 6 long and exciting hours total, they were all worth it. I'll have a new carpet next year in red!

One of them is of the rear suspension strut but it's sideways, and the glare from outside the garage messed up parts of the photos but they're O.K.

The second picture is of the rear arch where I've filled it in but haven't sanded yet.

I've stripped out the whole interior so that I can replace all the vinyl with red and black on the side trims and the ceiling panel will be white to make it seem bigger and more spacious, and the dash will also have a colour system of black, red and will have a few details in red.

I will also get red carpets and aluminium floor mats along with loads of MOMO accessories which will all cost around £700-£900. Everything will be re-done like a new stereo and aircon will also be fitted which will be extra but it will be the dogs when it's done.

SPARCO seats will cost 670 quid with 5-points.

The bodywork will take a while as there is rust on every panel but not loads, except for the sunroof and the tailgate which I'll have to replace but I've got a mate who will let me nick his standard rolla for free. :yahoo:

I thought of getting it resprayed in thick gloss super white and I'll search for a carbon fibre hood too. Another addition will be some 17 ROTA which will cost around £650 but they are sweet.(white of course)

The whole style is agressive japanese racer and I have had many nods of approval from family and friends.

What do you think of the ideas?
