So Many Questions

I hve a 1998 corolla 1.6 sr pushing out 109bhp, it's nippy but i need more....i was thinking an induction kit to start followed by an exhaust, but is there anything else i can do to increase power without breaking the bank.

Furthermore, I need styling tips considering it's an older model, there aren't as many kits available as i thought. I like the wrc rear spoiler and the tte front bumper but was after a pair of side skirts, any ideas?

peace.

Hi,

For performance upgrades that won't destroy your bank, try getting things like bigger fuel injectors and a larger throttle body.

Other things include spark plugs, ignition leads and an oil catch tank which cleans the air in the induction system for £50.

If you're willing to stretch slightly further with your cash, then you can get the engine re-mapped to squeeze out any performance that you can.

There are items such as brake line kits also cost £50 and they will increase the pressure and response in the system which increases the braking performance.

I would personally reccomend new sport catilytic converters when you buy the exhaust otherwise the stock ones will burn and set fire.(Trust me, I know and so does my wallet):lol:

When it comes to styling, I got a quote for limo black tinted windows around the back windows for £180. The place is called pentagon auto tints and it's in manchester.

cool, finally some advice.

I got all five windows tinted for 100 with a lifetime guarantee, by a fella called Sharky in Birmingham.

Mine's a 98 model, it's too old for remapping, i am looking at replacement ECU's or performance chips at the moment.

thanks

Could you get some pics of your tinted car on here so I could take a look?
