GUys!!! just wanted to say that I bought a Toyota Celica 2.0 GT and on the weekend, and being the newbie that I am, I let the car show me what it could do.

I mean at under 4000 rpm, its a perfectly respectable car to drive, but after 5000 rpm, this car becomes something else, it takes off like a rocket.... and almost hands you a guarantee for losing your license.

MY question is, does anyone know what this car is capable of ? I mean, what is the top speed of a 2.0 GT?

The car I bought is UK spec, is its speed limit capped?

Thanks

Apparently if its uk then it shouldnt limited although i've been told that parts ie. ecu's get shared around sometimes. If your car wont go past 112 then you may have a uk car but youve got a jap chip. Not 100% sure what a delimited top end is.

Also depends on if your running in KM's or MPH... if it has a conversion done then it is derestricited.

But as it is UK spec it wont be restricted.

To tell if it is an import look to see if the rear plate is square.
