Decided On A New Car

Well, after much debate, reading and more reading, about the pro's and cons of buying either a CTS or a CTR I have finally made a decision. I have signed on the dotted line for a Mk1 Octavia VRS. I think in the end it was the size of the car which won the argument.

I have found this forum really helpful and somewhere in me says I should have got a CTS, but I think the everyday power delivery of the 1.8T will be more suitable.

Im still going to keep checking the corolla forum as some of the posts are quality. I also check youtube for the latest video clips!

Going to keep the VRS a year then look to having it remapped. Produces good results apparently.

Damn thing only revs to 6.5k though

Its strange how attached I have become to the CTS.....maybe one day!

Octavia vRS - nice! A friend of mine has the Fabia vRS and ok, it's slightly different being a diesel but it's a great car and really flies so I expect the Octavia is even better...

Plus you can't whinge at basically purchasing a cheap Volkswagen.... :P

Good choice!!
