I had the same problem. When ringing insurance companies for quotes, nobody seemed to know what it was. Its a 1994 ST 203 2.0 16 valve and a friend of mine seems to think its a GT??

If you look at the back of gthe engine there is a plate that gives you most of the car spec but i'm not sure if because there imports its different?????? :huh:

on the timing belt cover should be 3sfe or 3sge at a glance to a celica guru the engines are completely different and esily recognised. if its 3sfe its a ss1 E-ST202-BLMGK if its 3sge its a ss2 E-ST202-BLMVF and the uk equivelent of the gt.

the st203 model has 4 wheel steering. and fitted with the less powerfull 3sfe engine.E-ST203-BLMGK

ss1 = 140 ps - 130 bhp roughly

ss2 = 180 ps - 173 bhp roughly

all imports with 3sge should be ran on super unleaded for maximum power , the 3sfe just needs regular gas.

all u need to know is right here- http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/toyota/celica/

Ahh so mine is the SS1 then and yes it has 4 wheel steering which I have never used before but its axctually really good. 130bhp..... boooo how can I improce this. I was told by adding a cold air intake from the front to the induction kit would help a little?

Thanks for that!!!

I dont suppose you are able to answer my other questions regarding my speedo?

could be the speed sensor is on the way out or duff. try doing a error check using the diagnostics port and see what error codes if any flag up. e1 and te1 iirc. do a search in this forum and you shall find your answers.
