Custom Exhaust Systems

so after endlessly trying to find some decent backboxes for the corolla i have given up. £250 for a backbox from remus or tte is just too much. for around that price you can get a full custom job done...

its really annoying that mods for this car are very hard to come by :censor:

SO all the ppl who have had custom systems installed please state where you got it from and how much you paid and tell about the difference it has made...be it the sound or the performance.

i have been looking at powerflow systems and i know they do really systems....nice sound some power gains etc. but other options will be welcome

I think 'Wakey T Sport' had a custom exhaust made, at exhaust UK for approx £300

i'm sure he'll tell you more!!!

Im getting a cat back twin system made and im getting charged 480 with some sErious modifications for the sound.

you will struggle to get a system for around 200...i would go for the tte back box as it will be easier to sell your car at a later date and it wont be so dear later. Remember labour costs will be involved.

Dont forget the old adage "You get what you pay for", however Rolla part costs are a bit daft at times.

i had a custom ss through system from powerflow burnley about £280 on my primera shouldnt cost much more on the T Sport. if you are buying for power, get a 2.5"

but not many places do them and it will cost more...

the TTE backbox is more superficial than performance driving!

It should fit if your going for the 1.6 specific one.

Take a look at the TTE website. The part numbers for pre and post facelifts should be the same.

get a load of this......if you buy a tte back box which is for 2001-2003 prefacelift models then this is what will happen:

if you have a pre facelift then it will fit a 1.4 or a 1.6 petrol....

if you own a facelift then it will only fit a 1.4 diesel....

how dumb is that?

AND if you buy a tte exhaust for the 2.0 diesel....it will fit the 1.6 facelift model cos the part numbers are the same....
