Ring Sportz Blue Blubs

I just bought a pair of Ring Sportz Blue 80/100w blubs since the factory ones were just not up to scratch.

So after installing them (bit of a tight squeeze beside the fuse box... but never mind) I tryed them out in town and they were great.

So next, I took the car onto a country road and fit the full beam. But for some reason the amount of light coming out never really increased. The direction of the beam had clearly shifted but to be honest I could see more using the dipped beam.

I was wondering if I installed them correctly or maybe I mis-aimed them or something? The spring clips were a bit tight when fixing them in, but they are securly in place.

:help:

Any help would be appreciated as I really don't want to install the old ones.

Cheers.

the 100W bulbs are not reallllly recomended for the standard wiring, we have had a few people ar work that tell us that the wires get hot/warm. they are not as bright becase they are totally bluue so the power increase makes up for the light loss.

if u want brighter ring do some Ultra Xeon ones which are 60% brighter due to the gas that burns with no increase in wattage.

And they are road legal too ( not like the Sports Bluez ;)
