A yellow warning light is staying lit on the dashboard.

It is like the outline of an engine. My car is a R reg.

What does it mean? Many thanks!

In my handbook it says take vehicle to any authorized toyota dealer or repairer or another duly qualified and equipped professional.

Sorry no further info in book other than service reminder indicator

if it is a yellow light, like a square, it is the engine management light, have you noticed any problems recently with your car, if their is a faulty sensor etc with the car this light comes on, sometimes you might not feel anything different with the car, but the light will be on, if have enough have enough money to pay a dealer go to them or otherwise, look for a garage that has a computer that can read a toyota, they plug the computer into the car which reads a code, this code will be your problem, each problem has a pacific code, around where i live they charge £25.00 for this, But not all garages have these fault code readers, Look in your local paper you might find someone or try the net, I would think the main dealer would charge around £50.00 for this
