Roof Bars

hi guys been pokin around for a while now and were hoping someone could tell me where to get some roof bars like the ones on this thread (see link)....... all the one on websites ive seen are no different to the ones i can get from hallfords and the like

or if there are ones that anyone has used of different vehicals with succes

I think that the ones in that Surf came from a scrap yard, then you will have to remove the roof lining and drill the roof.

I got the bars from a wrecked Peugeot 406 estate.

i see a trip to the scrapper coming on........ there not as much fun these days i remember when you could just wander around a scrapper as a kid my dad would be taking various parts of cars and i'd have my hand stuck down the back of a seat in a vauxhall viva or triumph TR7 or somethinng looking for extra pocket money...............
