Tyre Time

Those are the chaps I usually use... However they could not get the tyres to me in time, then on top of that I would have had to add 15squid per tyre to get it fitted.... I was looking at getting the KUMHO tyres from them...

Still I'm not crying about having to pay 135 when I was expecting the 172 mark....

Will see what happens in March when the front ones get changed....

regards

Anywho... for you fine Ravvers out there who live close to Bracknell then I recommend Bracknell Batteries and Tyres on Longshot lane... Give em a call I'm sure you'll be happy with their price.... just beware that they do get very busy... with prices like the ones I paid that doesnt suprise me... ;)

Regards

Rob

I used to work in Bracknell (Western Way) for 10 years and when I was based in that area, I always used that company, so have to agree with you, Rob.

Just saw this thread and thinking I should post up Bracknell Tyre and Battery but luckily you found them anyway! :D

They are super cheap but you have to get there really early at least half an hour before they open on a Saturday if you don't want to spend all day down there waiting in a huge queue.

...or if any of you lot ever venture as far North as ORKNEY I can recommend MUNROS garage on the Industrial estate. After being quoted £125+VAT at our local ATS as the cheapest they could do I went to Munros who supplied and fitted a set of 'budget' tyres on my front end for just £115! Hasten to add there are no Motorways on the island, and have no plans to take Ravi over any ploughed fields etc so these are probably quite suitable for general purpose work. Tread measures between 6.5 - 7.0mm, so I guess plenty of life in 'em on our roads and occasional forays into Aberdeen & Inverness etc. -oh, and no waiting either- job done, (including wheel balancing) in just under an hour. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL RAVVERS!

Happy New Year all!

Just to say i brought some General Grabber AT2 3 months ago, with i must say a little caution as i was not sure what they would be like on the road. But i can report back that all the write up's are right, they are very good. Just a little humm on some road surfaces but nothing much. And as you expect offroad. Had to change tyre size slightly from 235/60 to 215/70 but gives the same rolling circumfrence. I brought them local from me at a Lan* Ro**r garage for £89.0 fitted each.

Just to add to the thread-I've had General Grabber UHP's for the last 8,000 miles or so (8 months approx) and they've been great. £305 for 4 from BlackCircles (just delivered-not fitted).Very happy with them and would thoroughly recommend them.
