I'm going to be replacing both the front and the rear Speakers with alpine oned, the sizes are 6.5" for all.

Not sure whether I'm going to need any adaptors, if so what size? The alpines(don't have them yet) are supplied with various adaptors but I need to get all unknowns sorted before I start ripping things out.

As I have a Sub. in the Boot, I only replaced the fronts with Alpine Type S a few years ago. It was simply a case of drilling out the rivets holding the OE Speakers in place and !Removed! the Alpine's in with self tappers to the black plastic housing. The hardest job was feeding the uprated cabling (fed via 4 channel Amp.) through into the Doors.

1st job is head unit, Ive chosen the Pioneer P88RSII so will be sorting this on the weekend.

2nd job is the front Speakers, basicaly Alpine Type X Reference 6.5".

Not sure on the rears, suggestions on this, pioneer dealer recommened 6x9's but I'm not convinced, oval Speakers I dont think so.

For now the original toyota wiring will stay, maybe I will add an amp later together with a sub but 1st priority is the front.
