Rear Parking Sensor Speaker Volume

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi all,

Been finding this forum very useful. I've had my Aygo Platinum almost a week, shortened the aerial and lengthened the rear wiper.

Thought I'd post a bit of advice for anyone finding their rear parking sensor speaker rather loud. Simply remove the plastic plugs holding down the 'carpet' in the left-hand side of the boot and pull said carpet out to gain access to the little speaker stuck to the bare metal. I guess if you have a LHD Aygo it would be on the right-hand side instead. I couldn't find any foam to stick over the speaker so used a little sticky-backed cork pad (from B&Q for putting under things to stop them sliding around) to cover the speaker hole.

The volume is now half what it was and less abusive to the ears.

Best wishes,

Osmo
