Hi,

got a 2003 53 D4D and the heaters are permantely blowing cold regardless of switch positions,engine starts and warms up fine no overheating prob's.

Any help

check coolant level . it could be low

Had the same problem recently with my 2.2d 55 plate tourer - just out of warranty.

Indeed water level low. Did you get gurgling in the heater pipes on startup for a while?

Try filling it up with water while the engine is running (bet it's short), then I think you'll find it's bubbling in the header tank.

If so, welcome to the blown head gasket club.............................
