I know you can disconnect the batt to reset the ECU, but what spark plugs do you remove (i've read on another thread its the 15A ones)

But there are 4 15A fuses which ones do l pull out and put back in?

Remove spark plugs? :huh::lol:

Just stick with the fuses!

If in doubt pull them all out! ;)

In the fusebox you'll notice 2 15amp fuses together in the higher part of the box. These two will reset the ECU. Infact, One of them will but I forget which one. So I remove them both... xD

Infact again!!! Just remembered I took this for someone a while back:

Fuses1.jpg

(Don't remove the green 30 amp fuse! Circled that by accident in a hurry, haha)

Cheers T-Sport that helped remove the eml :D

Think l found the prob why its comming on, l think its the air pump that goes directly into the exhaust is going as l reset the ecu then started her from cold and the light came on straight away but im not in limp mode and can hit lift so its not a serious issue (phew lol) then when l got to my house did a reset again and the eml didnt come back.

So its either that air pump or lamba sensors l think, will do some more playing this weekend to find out.

I thought with OBD2/EOBD systems (post 2001) removing said fuses or disconecting Battery did NOT always clear/reset ECU unlike older generation Corollas (pre 2000) where it does work.

If it does work please explain/enlighten me as I am interested here as this doesn't work with a lot of other manufacturers post 2001 / OBD2 / EOBD cars.

:)
