Hi.I intend changing the alternator belts and previous info was to remove the fan and the radiator shroud. Is the shroud in two pieces It looks as if it is but I've loosened off all the screws I can see and I still can't get it out.If I remove the fan the drive pulley will fall off.Can I get to the alternator pivot bolt if I remove the the engine protection plate. Any advise would be great. (It's a 2.4 turb diesel) :help:

The shroud is in two pieces, a metal bottom section and a top and sides section which is plastic.

You need to pull off the lower part first before lifting out the top part.

You'll need to remove the bash plate for better access.

Remove the four nuts from the pulley (12mm spanner) to remove the fan assy.

Adjusment of the alternator belts is done from underneath, or from above if you have no air-con fitted.
