All Power Gone!

I am having a prob with the RAV D4D, it will only rev to about 2k rpm and then dies. It will rev OK when in neutral. Feels like fuel starvation. Will this be SCV valves then? How much are they? I have no warning lights on and it did do this once before about 2 months ago but it managed to get me to work and was OK on the journey home. Is there any maintenance I am supposed to do to the fuel filter? Cheers guys.

Just in case you get these symptoms, I had the car took into the garage who had their diesel and auto electrics experts on it. No faults found but sherlock said there is definately something wrong, she'll only do 10mph, better take it to Toyota. Had car transferred and within an hour they had diagnosed a dirty MAFS. Cleaned and all running sweet now. I had cleaned the sensor myself after getting advice but obviously not well enough.
