Avenis Screen Washer

Hi All,

I have a 2000 Avensis petrol. My screen washer won't work. No noises etc. Wondering is it easy to get at the bottle in order to test the pump? Does the wing have to come off?

No the wind doesn't have to come off.

Just undo the plastic dirt guard to the front of the right wing and the bolts holding the plastic panels under the engine in that general area. Pull the panels out of the way, no need to remove them and with a small hand you should be able to work it.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago, got it out gave it a few sharp taps and it worked. Flushed it through with clean water and gave it plenty of exercise. It's going fine since. Might be worth a try in your case too.

Are you sure it isn't just frozen? We have been getting below 0 temperatures here, have you?

Thanks guys. I'll give it a shot. Yeah it is freezing here but the washer stopped before that.
