Corolla Terra 3dr Window Problems.

My Corolla Terra hatchback 3 door, is only 6 yrs old it has very low milage and not used daily. ODO: 43264

Last year I had to replace the window regulator costing me 400 euros and this year the other window is starting to go. The price of course has gone up since.

Nobody has been abusing the windows in any way.

How common is this problem with windows?.

I'm wondering is it down to the window regulators are not strong enough on the 3 door model. The windows would be bigger than the 5 door.

I'm so angry about the over pricing of parts at the Toyota dealers too.( I think Ireland gets ripped off on parts even more than the UK.)

The whole thing is really getting to me. Toyota would be dearer in Ireland than a lot of makes. I thought it was worth the extra money because you got a car with no surprises.

Try toyotadirectparts.co.uk website for price. Use parts enquiry, tell them your car is a T3s & use your chassis nu, or better still if you have friend with 3 door import around same age use Uk chassis number. You may get lucky on price ? Try living on the west coast, all parts to be ordered are shipped overnight & appear next day at higher than Dublin prices.

We all know we are being ripped off, maybe you could try the exodus to Newry & try an Ulster dealer. Good luck anyway.
