2nd post :)

Does anyone know if the fuel flap release cable can be replaced as the one on mine is extremely slack, the flap doesnt pop open when the lever is pulled. I need to gently stick my key in to open fully, if I push the bottom left corner of the door in it just closes again...Not a major problem, just a major annoyance

Thanks

I had this problem too and was aright pain in the nuts. :ffs:

I'm not sure what it's like for you, but I had to strip out the parts and panels of the interior where my cable lead me and once I found the end, I cut it slightly shorter and tightened all of the lever screws. :o

Another way which I would advise you to try first would be to take the lower part of that dash of where the cable lever is and see if it has unclipped from it's holder. If it has, you just need to use brute force and shove it back in there!:lol:

Thanks. the lever for mine is on the floor at the drivers seat, i'm sure it cant be that different. I'll try taking the panel in the boot off and have a look...when i eventually get some spare time lol

Well at least you naged to fix it without having to strip out different parts of the interior!

It has to be said that your problem was much more easily solved than mine!
