Does anyone know how much one of these costs? I've heard they can be £500 !!!

As l think thats what the problem is with my car, all the eml and other lights came on. And the engine nearly stalls at idea when it tries to spin the pump up, l think the reason is either it cant get the fuel air mix right at the start and has problems then runs in rich fuel mode or the ecu is trying to send so much power to start the fan that its neally stalling the engine.

I have cleaned the MAF filer.

Your pump only works when the engine is started from cold. It wont effect how the engine runs. If its not working your car just runs dirtier. The engine will run fine with out the pump.

It will probably be more. The pound isn't what it used to be.

Buy a scanner, that way you will know what code is bring the lights on.

I had this go on mine and it cost about £500 but that was done by toyota but covered by warranty and they had it for a day. hope it helps
