Oil Leaks Everywhere!

Hi guys,

Since I've stripped out the interior, I've found oil randomly appear overnight in certain places.

One of these places include under the sunroof, the heater motor and joints aswell as under the centre console and all other places above the foot wells. :ffs:

Does anone have any idea what these leaks are because I'd rather not spend 200 quid no a new carpet and have it spoiled by the regualr oil leaks :ffs: that are appearring all over the car. :(

If anyone has any ideas on how to counter these messy attacks, please do inform before the beautiful red carpet is put to spoil by the evil lubricant! :lol:

Are you sure it's not 'dirty' water that has been lying around in cavities etc? - as you mention sunroof and heater matrix (centre console and heater motor) area.

Yep.

I smelt it and felt it and it's definatly a lubricant.

The next thing to do would be to taste it..... :lol:

I doubt it.

There was only one elderly owner for over 12 years and she didn't much care for cars, not even her own.

The dripping seems to be a very slow process though, which is quite odd because the oil has a very low viscosity :lol: which can only lead me to think that the hole that it drips out of is very small!
