does anyone know if the t sport cd changer plug is square or rectangular in shape?

with this adapted can u connect an amp? i have been trying to find out if i could connect an amp to my factory headunit and if so what product would i require? any ideas?

the kenwood amp on my carputer would work ideally. it will take an amplified signal. you need to chop the speaker connectors not the cd plug.
