Acc Mode

Is it possible to go from full driving mode to ACC without switching off first ?

In a 'normal' car, you can switch off the engine leaving the radio on whilst you wait. Then either restart or switch off and remove the key.

Can you do this in the Prius, I have searched the manual but cannot find out.

TIA

My belief is you must press the Power button to switch off the car. Then as per usual you can press the Power button on (without pressing down on the brake) to turn on some electrics. Press Power button on once more (without brake pedal) for full electrics. The third time you press the Power button without brake pedal turn off the electrics/car.

Not as far as I know. How long are you running on ACC mode? I ask because the 12V AUX Battery is really weedy and it doesn't apparently take much to run it down.

Only for 5 or 10 mins, it is when I stop in the car park and like to listen to the radio whilst waiting for my passenger. I suppose there is no real reason why I cannot leave it in 'ready' , but in this cold weather the petrol engine sometimes cuts in to keep me warm.
