Stupid Question...

Stupid question...does the e11 have a clutch cable, been searching on the net and cant find a site that stocks them. All i can find is a clutch assembly kit. Reason i'm asking is that the biting point on mine is really low, about an inch or 2 from the floor. Its a 99 1332cc ;)

Did you try asking your local Mr T garage?? Give their service dept guys something to do - now that they are sitting idle all day!

Can you not have the cable in your adjusted to help fix this??

have you only just bought this car or was the bite point fine and now is low?

you could check the fluid level and replace it if it is very dirty.

also there should be an adjuster on the master cylinder where it connects to the clutch pedal.

a low biting point isnt usually a problem - its when it gets really high people complain.
