New Auris 1.6 TR September delivery, Just returned from dealer on second visit for radio crackling on FM stations, on first visit they replaced the radio immediately at which I was a little suspicious, on this latest visit they acknowledge that there is a problem with Auris radios and they are awaiting a "fix" from Toyota, is this a general problem, if so suggest you let your dealer know

Having had two Auris, one thing that I haven't had a problem with is the radio.

I guess that the radio is a common model accross the range?

Hi there,

The only crackling I get on the radio is when the rear window heater is on - turn it off and everything is perfect.

Manual or MMT? If manual not heard of a problem but if it is MMT then yes this is known on some cars.
