Hi and welcome to toc mate!

Tell me the engine model and I'll do a bit of research for you. Am looking for carburetors for you now but can't find the right one. :censor:

Nice car - infact the sort of thing (and age of vehicle) we need to see more of on this forum!

1100cc ?

KE10?... or was it KE20 model code by '72?

Downdraught two barrel carburettor was what the UK spec version had but I don't know what was required in USA due to emission laws coming into force.

I think  it was of 'Aisan' Japanese manufacture (think I spelt it right).

I do believe a firm called 'Nikki' (also of Japanese manufacture) did many an 'aftermarket' 'Twin Choke' carburettor - these still crop up on eBay ...if worst comes to worst consider one of these or ... failing that what about good old WEBER aftermarket setups?

Another line of enquiry might be these guys:

It's a British Toyota owners club who are geared to ALL Toyotas over 10 year old - there are some VERY knowledgeable people in it - give 'em a try!

Good Luck
