Hi all, I was doing a quick search for spares and found a link to the site, so thought I'd sign up. :)

I'm a single dad from Halesowen near Birmingham, and have two kids who, like me, love our Space Cruiser.

A few years back I was a gardener and wanted something to carry tools and a mower, but also something useful as family transport. I got a job working for a pensioner who just happened to have a 1989 Space Cruiser sat on her drive gathering moss. She said she was thinking of selling so I jumped at the chance and picked it up for £1000. When I got it in 2005 it had 14.5 k miles on the clock and a full service history. It was like a new car, and still is. The only problem I've had with it is it doesn't like cold mornings, but once its up and running its fine. I'll get around to picking up an auto choke replacement one day!

The plan is to make some removeable units for a cooker and sink unit, and also to see if I can get some Hiace curtains to fit it so we have a useable camper.

I think the kids would kill me if ever I got rid of our 'big blue bus' lol, its a great mpv.

Before that, I had an '88 Celica. Mechanically it was perfect, but the body was in a poor state and I couldn't afford to replace/ repair the rusty panels so sadly, it had to go. We got a years fun out of it though.

So thats me. See you around on the forum :)
