Which Celica do you have?

Never mind, I see from your other post that it's a "1997 25th aniversary celica st"

Good choice; nice engine. It should serve you well. I've had a Gen 5 and a Gen 7, but not (as yet) a Gen 6 so I'll let others tell you if there's anything you should be aware of. But it's a 90s Toyota and therefore should be pretty much bullet-proof.

let go of steering wheel when driving it- if it pulls violently to the left or right - walk away from it. I have owned 2 gen 6's both had no problems at all .

another thing to look for is to check the gaps between the hatchback and rear of the car are even and the gaps between the bonnet and wings are even.

water in boot can leak in through rear light seals - easy fix.
