Ok basically it started a few weeks ago, I am running about 17psi with the tvsv blocked off and has been fine up until recently. I noticed the engine light coming on in my journey, i did a bit of a test and it came on when i started hit the boost. Once at the top of the boost the power would start to stutter/*****, im guessing its a vacuum fault somewhere but any ideas please let me know, the turbo seems to spool up the same. The garage i took it to which was just ur average work a day one could not figure it out so i'm going to try a specialist. Anyone know any good places to go in the peterborough/surrounding area?

drop the boost down to 15 psi , 17psi is a shade off the ecu mapping capability and its confused on what to do .

Ok i'll set the boost up again but it was fine for months until this happened, thats what is confusing me

it could be due to the colder weather, the air will be denser causing more air to be forced in at the same pressure

Ok put the boost down to just under 15PSI still no difference, the engine light comes on when u start to accelerate the power jumps/stutters when its on the way up and seems to affect the turbo at top boost with it wavering.

knock sensors are pretty expensive mate, i'd just bite the bulliet and get it, check with partsking on here to see what sort of price he can do one for you

Aye so i've noticed now, going to check if it is not loose or wiring fault first, where abouts is it on the engine?

Check for broken/brittle wire from KS to ECU, check sensor correctly torqued up, check sensor terminal not covered with oil/shorted out, replace sensor, shake sensor - it shouldn't rattle! There should be no continuity between the centre pin and the body of the KS

its located at the back of the phlegam chamber as per my last post picture.
