Slight Noise When Accelarating

I seem to be experiencing a very slight drilling noise only faintly and only accelarating very lightly in first and second gear i.e (1000 - 1500 rpm)

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be ?

If you are hearing a high pitched noise, then it's probably something to do with the gears slipping slightly. A mate had the problem with an old mini and the gears were slightly worn when he took it apart.

Is your rolla old or thrashed around alot?
