Folding Down Back Sets

Hi all, just joined the forum as i've just bought a 2004 1.6 Avensis (think its a T25 model) and ive got a couple of questions. I need to remove some back seat covers but to do so it looks like ill have to lower both the the back seat and the underlying seats. Now this might sound like a stupid question but i can't seem to find any straps or buttons which might release the seats and allow me to lower them down. The manual inicates that i should have a strap which i can pull for the lower back seat and a release mechanism for the upper back seat but neither seem to be present!!!!

Hope someone can shed some light on this!

To duffler,

If you have Liftback or Tourer then you seats should fold forward. Part of seat you sit on, to move forward hold bottom of seat & lift/pull towards you at the same time. Back part of seat should have a button in each corner which also holds seat belts, press & pull.

Thanks Beagh, i currently don't have the button on each corner that you speak off, so im stumped!!!Any one have any further ideas????
