Hi my daughter has a 1999 Yaris GLS The infamous engine light is on. She had it turned off by Toyota for £52 some months ago but it has come back on. I have been looking at code readers which can switch the light off. The only problem is that they say cars after 2001 must be compliant with the protocol. Does anyone know if the 1999 Yaris can be connected to the readers? If it can, does anyone have any recommendations? Cheers
