Hello all,

Thought I would pop in and say Hi, I am generally in the MR2 or Celica section, but heard how you lot are a good laugh so I thought I would investigate. :P

I drive an MR2,and have been on TOC for years, I have driven an auto Rav, and have been a passenger in the back of one, whilst being shown the sights of Derby, and I do like then very much. :D

Well that's about it for now....look forward to chatting with you.

Hi Callista and of course a warm welcome

I guess your thousands of posts have come from discussing the merits of the MR2 spinning at roundabouts!  But actually its good cos it keeps me in wrecked turbo MR2s to use as donor cars for my RAVs !!

Must admit, now my 2 RAVs are made up from RAV4 ; GT4; and MR2 with a few wee bits from VW and Fiat, then I drift around the forii myself.

Hi Ash and welcome to the nuttiest forum on TOC :wacko:

Well do I detect another MR2 owner thinking of coming out of the closet ? (not in the gay sense)

Not so long ago I got Jappy to admit he wouldn't mind owning a nice little 2 door Rav in black

Anyway enjoy the trip, and bear in mind we never stay on topic :D

Yes welcome mate, we dont stay either on topic or serious for very long + everyone is welcome, unless they own a Honka CRV (Child Rescue Vehicle or Council Refuse Van) + land rovers of any type, particularly freelanders (Nedflanders) are generally frowned upon. Bothy mentions them now + again but we excuse him as his is a true off-roader, It has not actually been on the road since he got it..Just to clarify Bothy doesn't recognise any vehicle with more than 3 doors + is currently experiencing something of a hinge fetish but we are assured he is undergoing treatment + will shortly be allowed out unsupervised for short periods. So once again welcome to the RAVing section :driving:

Welcome in Ash...Just a few things to remember when in the RAV section...Stay on topic for at least 2 posts, then just divert off to something meaningless and trivia....

Not to mention the UGLY ONE     or the     will be round to steal your wheels and chop down your Christmas tree..... :newyear:

We are a friendly bunch and don't take things too seriously (well apart from the RAV's of course) great place to find the info you need on anything from DVD satnav and heated leather seats, right upto wooden carved apples and fruit

You want to watch whose RAV your getting into the back of - there's some dodgy folk around this neck of the woods.

Nice of you to look in and if you come this way again be sure to call for a brew.

Oh and by the way you need to get some polish on that car, its gone all dull!

Cheers

I still miss my Celica GT4 after over 10 years, but the RAV4 is a remarkably sporty car which surprises many a 'normal' car driver.
