Rav4 Interior Colour Codes

Hi there,

I'm trying to find out what colour the metally looking plastic bits are on either side of the radio unit, gearstick and door handles with interior code FA11(charcoal black).

I think Savannah metallic (4R4) might be the colour, but I'm not sure.

It's for a 2005 silver (1D4) RAV4 XT3.

Does anyone know?

I don't think they differ according to the exterior or interior colour but maybe Kingo will comment tomorrow.

There is no specific name for interior trim colour in general, but FA11 tells us the following

FA = A particular style of trim fitted to the seats and door trims

11 = The specific colour of the trim (although the specific colour does not have a name) Charcoal, Sable, Blue etc. 11 is listed as Dark Grey on your model

When you give the chassis number to your dealer, it will tell him many things, such as build date, exterior colour code, interior trim code, engine code, grade, and type of transmission (MAN or auto) plus a lot more!

So a chassis number is very important to us, particularly when sourcing trim parts or when a part changes on a build date
