Vin# Locations On A 91 Celica Gt-four Rc (japan) St-185?

I recently purchased a GT-Four in Alberta Canada, it was imported and registered with the identification number located on the firewall right under the hood, left side.

I live in British Columbia Canada, and in order to register the car and get it insured, I need to find at least two areas on the car where the identification number is located.

I've looked briefly under the front wheel wells, in the doors, around the steering column (Plastic parts), and I don't see it anywhere at least in plain view around the engine. It is pretty tight in the engine bay and the line of sight could be blocked by another part?

Does anyone know where else the number is located, or a good place to start looking?

Kind of stupid that its already been checked out and registered in one province, and the other doesn't accept it. I can get a VIN assigned to me from the B.C. government, but it needs to pass inspection first, and the shop doing the inspection wont pass it without the two numbers!

Thank you for your time and replies.

I think it's stamped into the firewall, directly behind the inlet manifold. Or on a silver plate also fixed to the firewall.

I can see the firewall number, is there another down below it? Its a secondary ID number that I'm having problems finding.

Thanks for the help.

is it stamped under the kick plate on drivers side - maybe behind a plastic flap ??
