hey guys thanks for all you help last time and i now have a TTE backbox, but now i want to lower my car but how much should i lower it by? i do not want to lower it soo low that it cant get over speed bumps!(like boy racers e.g corsa, saxo lol) just a reasonable amount! i have 215/45/17 tyres on at the moment, so how low should i go?

also what springs are good? the only one i know an heard of is Eibach or somefin! lol

thanks :)

If you choose the Eibachs from Fensport then you cant go wrong, however as your Avatar doesnt specify which Model Corolla you have then its difficult to answer.

Cab,

Think he has an E12.

I use the Eibach springs, and I also got them from Fensport. Can't complain!

I thought as much, however Fensport are now showing some springs that read identically but one says CTS and the other with others at the same price, that makes me think they could be different yet the Eibachs/TTE aren't model specific. My head has gone  not that it takes a lot

tte part model numbers for the TTE BACK BOX IS A LOAD OF S**t, i bort a 2.0 diesel 4 my 1.4 petrol and it fitted perfectly the only thing i had to do is get 2 bigger bolts to clamp the new box onto my existing system! lol

as long as the springs look ok to me that they will fit my car thats fine! lol part numbers are there jus 2 rip u off i think!

oh yeh i have been on the fensport site an seen the Eibach springs for £120 but are they for a set of 4? it does say?

and how low should i go? 30 or 35mm?

also what size tyres do u guys have on your 17" alloys? i had 205/45/17 first but they left soo much gap in the arches it looked silly so i have changed them 2 215/45/17 which is not bad compared to before, but could do with lowering a bit!

I'm on 18's. The Eibachs only lowered my car 15mm. The gap is still pretyy big but nowhere near as bad as it was. I do have 215/35 tyres though, so maybe next time I'll get bigger and see if the gap disapears a little.

You do get the 4 springs for the price. If I recall correectly it's about £153 Including VAT & Next day delivery. All Prices on Fensports website don't have VAT on, so add 15%!

30 or 35 wont really matter, they'll both sit quite nicely. I wouldn't recommend going any lower than 40mm on standard shocks though.

If your on 17's with 45 profile tyres the lowering springs should allow the wheels the fill the arches very nicely.
