4.1 Bullbar

hi yall!

finally got the rav4 bullbar on. thought u might like to see. got the bullbar from a local breakers, it was bent but the hubbys mate cut the bent bit out , replaced it with stainless and blasted and powdercoated. also added some cool spots. i think it looks class!! my bargain basement rav is looking cooler by the day..

next step is to replace the ugly rear lights with the later 4.1 sexy lights and im also thinking of colour coding the plastics as i have cleaned and polished them but they still look carp. i havent spoken to the painter yet so dont know if its feasible. have any of u guys painted the plastics on a 4.1?

Nice work. Before you paint the bumpers try autoglym bumper care gel. It will get rid of the patches. Painting can be done but it is a specialist (expensive) job.

Bull Bar looks very smart.

Think very carefully on plastics painting! can so easily backfire a few months later even if looks great to start with. I would go along with Anchormans suggestion.
