Dash Removal

Hi guys,

I am currently sitting on the cold bare metal of my rolla GTI-16 and I am attempting to take the dash out. Note attempting!

So far I have removed four bolts from the centre console and have taken out the last two visible bolts out from either side of the dash unit.

Despite my efforts of wiggling and pulling, the dash is stubborn and shall not be moved. :censor: :ffs:

Does anyone know how to remove the dash form this point on or do have to keep repeating :ffs: :ffs: :ffs:?

You seem to be having lots of problems with your Corolla. Perhaps an investment of £20 in a Haynes Manual would be worthwhile - maybe you could get Santa to drop one off for you.

I already have one but it doesn't seem to have any references towards removing the dash. I'll take a closer look and hopefully its in there but so far can't anything.

Re-check your Haynes... You must remove the spare wheel before attempting removal of the dashboard.

Cheers.

Why would the spare wheel have anyhting to do with the dash!

I have removed it anyway, way before I started on the dash. Any other ideas?

Help is appreciated!
