Ok, possibly a silly question, but i'm going to make sure just in case.

I've been using Semi-synthetic engine oil.

Should there be any problems draining and putting fully synthetic in?

In a word, no. Either 5W30 or 5W40 will be fine :)

Don't forget to change the sump nut washer. Only about 70-80p from Mr.T.

Synthetic oil is oil consisting of chemical compounds which were not originally present in crude oil (petroleum), but were artificially made (synthesized) from other compounds.

Semi-synthetic I guess contains both nautural & artifically made compounds.
