When we bought our T180 I wanted the SR180 but the cash we had would have only gotten us a Late T180 or a white SR180 (got lucky in the end tho got a fully loaded T180) so Ive seen loads of them kicking around!!!! Went to see 3 at Farmer & Carlisle Loughborough, 2 in Grantham Toyota, 1 in Boston Toyota and endless amounts of them at car supermarkets from barnsley down to leicester!!!! Didnt go for one in the end due to the wife hating white cars!!!!

So theyre are loads about but not many on road as few people seem to want them and when they do buy them they don't keep em!!!

I owned a white car once 1991 - 1993 a Rover 800 M16 Turbo. My last non-Toyota car. Lovely in the summer sun.

So keep it locked up until then and then enjoy it. Halfords will love your regular appearances to buy cleaning products ;)

Hi all

When I got mine in October there were white ones at every other dealer locally. Saying that though I've only seen 1 other SR180 on the road since then & it was silver. I was told that when Toyota launched the SR180 last January that lots of white ones were made for dealers demo cars as it's the most noticeable colour, now 10 months on most dealers are selling these. As to keeping it clean I've had mine 7 weeks of which I've cleaned it 4 times & Toyota have cleaned it once (steering column recall), the back end gets dirty really quickly if the weathers bad - mines got the mudflaps so can only think without these it would be worse. I would say not to buy new unless it's a company car as these demo cars are going cheap - mine was 12K for a 9 month old car with extras.

I have a white Corolla (Auris) 1.8 litre 4 speed auto.

The white colour makes the car stand out...it looks really nice when clean. But it can be harder to clean the car, especially down below near the wheels... all that mud gets stuck. I did not notice this in my previous silver Skyline before.
