2004 Rav 4 Roof Bars -will They Fit A 4.1?

hiyall

someone locally is selling roof bars from a 2004 rav4. he says they are fully adjustable and will fit a 4.1. just wondered if anyone could confirm this

I think that all the 4.2s had roof rails, so they take a roof bar that clamps to that existing rail. I don't think the 4.1 had rails, so I think the answer's - no

Here's a snap of my better half's 4.2, which might help. The black rails running from front to back are original equipment, the aluminium cross bars are aftermarket (Thule)

ah i see.its rails , bars and a box hes selling.he says the rails should fit mine. theres vented holes on the roof of my rav which i think are for the rails. im just not sure if they will fit. im just going to have to drive all the way there and try when i get there.
