Hi all,

I've got a 96' Gen6 ST202. Well looked after, always full of oil blah blah blah.

I've noticed a knocking sound coming from my engine. However i can't always seem to spot it. Here is my description:

Most noticable went started and left to idle from cold. Car usually idles at 2k from cold and decrease until warm.

Can only seem to hear the knock inside the car and specifically at 2k revs

When engine is warm and revs settle (-1k) knock goes.

If i step on the throttle and balance the revs @ 2k (when engine is warm) i can hear the noise really faintly, however no where near as noticable as when car is started from cold.

Go on then, hit me with the bad news lol.

Know any sites to get camshaft shims from for the st205? Im pretty sure mine are buggered too
