Basically, springs aren't adjustable as they only lower the car by the one specified amount.

Coilovers however are shocks and springs which are height adjustable, and the shocks can be adjusted on their downwards bounce and the rebound pressure (up and down strength).

Coilover are more expensive but have benefits way above the springs on their own!

Go to Europerformance.co.uk and take a look at the BILTSEIN B16 pss coilovers as they are awsome!!!

there are far cheaper coilovers on the market. Blistein happen to be one of the more expensive you can get ar the active component set ups used in race cars etc.

for instance, basic Tein Coilovers which score some pretty good JDM points (if you give a sh*£) come in at £500 for their basic set. which will give you a more dynamic drive and a range of height adjustment. :)

take a look at http://www.nengun.com and of course if all else fails http://www.google.com

cheers,

ricc.

ps, im being pedantic, but KPariss, its a Spring and a Damper ;) spring and shock absorber are technically the SAME thing. its just over time people have confused the shock absorber with the damper and called it so :) anyway, no biggie. lol
