T 180 'miss Fire'

Does any T180 owner or anyone with the same engine (2.2 diesel) get a 'missfire' at about 1300/1400 RPM when on full throttle climbing a long hill, in usually 5th gear. It seems to appear only if the hill is steep enough that the engine cannot increse the revs. Perhaps I should be changing down sooner to keep the revs higher?

Mine has only done 1500 miles, other than this small problem the engine is superb.

Best wishes to all

It shouldn't misfire under any circumstances. There are some firmware updates so you should take it back to RRG.

Thanks Anchorman, it will go back in the New year - will let you know if it gets cured.

RRG Stockport have solved the problem after a workshop and road test - I am changing up at too low revs before the turbo cuts in at about 17/1800 revs - my fault not the cars!!
