Gen 7 Rear Fog Light Lenses

I don't like the bright red lenses on the rear bumper fog lights of my Lagoon blue GEN 7

Has anyone successfully changed them for a darker smoked colour?

On my celica there gone altogether dont need them ;) ........

Legal requirement in the UK, so although that's a neat solution it's not really an option in this case.

I suppose they could be tinted darker with tinting spray - don't know of anyone who's done this though.
