If you buy the device that converts kmh into mph this, 9 times out of 10 de-limits the car also, thats what i did on mine and mines a jap gt4 st205

I found out the hard way.....I took KITT....gen 5 import over her limit.....big noise and judder then that was it...had her over the limit and then some with no probs.....All on private land :P

I wouldn't advise you to do it this way.
