Hey up im john and thought id say hello :)

Quite an avid fan of Toyota's and spent nearly 8 years working for Toyota (92-99) before joining the army.

Started my Toyota ownership with a nice G plate early spec Corolla GTi AE92 in red,then a 86 C AE82-limited edition black with diffeent interior and was awesome.then another red GTi this time a F plate,then a 89G MR2 AW11 in white.

Then a Escort RS Turbo-bag of *****e then no cars as was in army and over in northern ireland.

Then when back in england got a rover 216gti as a run around-this was mid 03 but soon got myself a 2001 celica vvti.

Had her for 4 years but got rid after a disagreement with the ex and ot the car ive always wanted-a st205 :)

Also bought a 185 for the wife but sold as she wasnt prepared to get a job to help pay for its up keep.

Anyways joined up as im gonna be looking for a corolla T sport as the family car and thought id get a heads up by having a look on here

Yer they were great looking cars and so much quicker than the corolla gt and gti's i have had but so fragile despite the TLC i gave her :(

But yes the recaro seats in them were awesome.

When i get the corolla t sport im gonna put the recaros out of my gt4 in that as i think the standard seats let it down.

Thats a good lot of Toyota's you had/have - we've got two AW11's, they are cracking cars :)

Yer the AW11 is a fantastic-handling was sublime.

Never had any major reliability issues with any of the Toyota's ive had and ill only have jap cars but after 8 years working at Toyota you get product bias so main reason i like em so much.

And the car ive always wanted is a ST205 as i was 18 when we first got one in our showroom and i promised myself that one day i would have one :)
