Ecu Diagram For T-sport

Guys been struggling with this ecu nonsense for ages and really need someone to shine a light on it. I have located the ecu..thanks to some help from here. Still cannot get the clamp which holds the ecu in place off as it has some special, (TORX,HEX,SPLINE) keys with a little pin in the middle which i cannot open. Have tried the Halfords torx set with a hole in the middle but they dont fit accurately. The clamp needs to be removed to uncover some more plugs which go into it. If someone can shine a light on this it would help. This is for anyone who has fitted a power enterprise camcon or apexi air fuel controller.

I also need a ecu wiring diagram for a 2004 corolla 1.8 t-sport. I have tried many user manuals and webpages but have had no luck. Again any help would be appreciated.

The tool you need is made by lazer, you can get them at Halfords, i got them there.. Torx is 6, the one you want is 5. I got them because some sensors on the engine have the same type screws head

I think i may have found out what the screws are called. Torx tamper resistant screws.

the tamper resistant screws have 5 lobes instead of the usual 6 lobes which torx keys have. They also have a small pin in the middle. Having a fair bit of trouble trying to locate a driver to open these screws. Ponzer thanks for the ECU Diagram, only problem is i dont understand how the spreadsheet is laid out...can anyone advice what the lettering on the diagram indicate. Or possibly if someone could shed some light on a pin out diagram. I have looked at a few 2zz-ge ecu pinouts for the celica but im certain our ecu is different than the celica?? also alot of websites show american celicas and corollas.

sounds like someones fitting a camcon..................

i trust you've fitted your wideband or are you gonna pay for dyno tuning? dont be tempted to take someone else's settings.

Correct! I want to get the diagrams because i need to get them to an auto electrician who will fit the camcon in for me, Also have a shift light which i wanted to put in. Had a little look behind the tachometer and all the wires going into it are one colour which is green! So wont bother with that and i cant find any guide of fitting a shiftlight for our uk models. Had a look on the american/australian forums but had no luck as all there wiring was different. Im going to get the camcon installed in and then go for an exhaust system. After i have completed some modifications will get it dyno tuned. Wanted to push on with the electronics so i can tuck away the wires and have the camcon fitted somewhere in the car.

The idea is to adjust the camcon after i have completed the modifications so it can be tuned to my upgrades. As for now i just really want to get it all tucked away in the interior so i dont have to worry about it later.

What is a wideband? Im not really with all the camcon tuning so any help would be appreciated.

Its an o2 sensor that measures the air/fuel ratio. Essential if you're tuning yourself but if you are getting it done by a pro, then they will temporarily install their own whilst its on the dyno

the diagram is layed out i'm guessing how you would see it looking at the pins for the ECU in coloums b-d, the letters in the boxs represent the colour of the wires and the info in brackets are the ID's for the pins that you'll find if you open your ECU case, the ifno on the right of the table is the definitions of the ID's

Yep same diagram i managed to figure the wire out but so far all the diagrams i have are not easily readable or straight forward like normal ecu pin out diagrams.

I made a pic that hopefully helps installing a camcon for corolla ts.

24yxyqu.jpg

Those ecu pin numbers are upside down because i had to turn it over so it would be right.

You can install a camcon without removing the ecu.

My CTS is Left hand drive. That photo is from my ecu and it's bad quality. Sorry.

If i writed something wrong in the pic, tell me so i can fix it.

I installed my camcon like that and it works fine.

Cheers :)

Doesn't that pic help? :o

You just have to remove the glovebox and the rest is in that pic.
