Mot Anyone?

Hello,

I want to know if there are anything I should be careful about before having my Aygo MOT'd.

Also any advantage of having it done at an authorised Toyota dealer? I'm going to have it done a month before the three year anniversary date, so hopefully if anything is wrong Toyota can fix it for me.

Same boat as you, I've booked my Aygo in for its MOT this weekend. Two weeks before the warranty is over, so hopefully everything will be fine. Don't have the money to Shell out!!!!

You may as well get the MOT done at the main dealer as its £53.10 at any mot station these days, and at a dealership you get all the razzmatazz of nice seating ,showroom to look round ,cars to sit in, coffee on tap etc, and I'm sure a 3 year old Toyota should breeze through the test......good luck.

If you are getting it done before the 3 year/30k mark you are probably getting a service done at the same time.

Any problems you just walk into the workshop and tell them they have more work to do on the car for the service/warranty. it's their problem then.

The MOT and the servicing have to be carried out by different people by law I think so there is a good chance they should catch any problems you may have.

Car passed MOT, no problems. Also dealer has ordered a new clutch to be fitted - just within warranty :D
